And then there is Mt Kenya itself, visible from almost everywhere, reachable within 25 minutes for a day hike, a climb, or a morning in the forest. Ol Pejeta, with its rhinos and big cats, is 20 minutes the other way. This is not suburbia. This is somewhere.
